This product is used for the treatment of infectious ophthalmia in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and horses. It should be administered only as directed by puffing it into the affected eye, with the treatment repeated two to three times daily until symptoms such as tearing, redness, and pain subside. Any temporary white discoloration of the cornea will gradually resolve on its own. Affected animals should be isolated and kept in a shaded environment during treatment. The product must be kept out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals. Although it has been extensively tested under various conditions, effectiveness may vary due to a range of factors; if treatment failure is suspected, veterinary advice should be sought and the registration holder notified.
