SWAVET Vitamin A is used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin A deficiency in cattle. It should be used strictly as directed, with a standard dosage of 1 mL per 250 kg body mass administered by intramuscular injection into the neck. The treatment is typically given once every three months during winter or periods of drought. In intensive farming systems, vitamin A requirements may be higher and larger doses may be required, but this should only be done under the guidance of a veterinarian.
