Feed Grade Sulphur is elemental Sulphur in a powder form to supply cattle, sheep & goats with Sulphur in diets, where non-protein nitrogen (NPN) supplies a large portion of the protein. Supplying Sulphur to micro organisms in the rumen will improve the conversion of NPN to microbial protein. Recommended for use in feed mixes containing non-protein nitrogen (NPN). Feed Grade Sulphur & Feed Grade Urea may be added to low quality roughages. Rate of 0.75kg Sulphur to 1 ton roughage to supply additional Sulphur. Can be added to phosphorus licks as a preventative measure against prussic acid & against poisoning in wilted pastures.
