This is a long-acting injectable antiparasitic remedy for cattle containing ivermectin 3.15% m/v. It is used for the treatment and control of internal and external parasites in cattle. Warnings include a 105-day withholding period before cattle may be slaughtered for human consumption, and it should not be used in lactating cattle if their milk or milk products are intended for human consumption. It must also not be used in dairy cattle within 105 days prior to calving when milk is intended for human consumption. The product must not be administered intravenously or intramuscularly and should be kept out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals. Although it has been extensively tested under various conditions, treatment failure may still occur for a range of reasons, and if suspected, veterinary advice should be sought and the registration holder notified.
