Vihtavuori N565 was developed to bridge the gap between the N560 and N570 high-energy rifle powders, and it was specifically tailored for use with 250-gr bullets in the .338 Lapua Magnum. Along with a carefully matched burn rate, the powder offers excellent temperature stability, delivering consistent performance across a wide range of environmental conditions. It also features improved resistance to moisture and includes a new decoppering agent to help keep barrels cleaner during shooting. Additionally, N565 is REACH compliant and does not contain DNT or phthalates
