Each bullet features Sierra’s GameChanger construction, which uses a special lead alloy core encased in a durable copper jacket to provide excellent penetration and controlled expansion across a wide range of hunting distances. The jacket wall thickness is carefully optimized to manage expansion while helping the bullet retain weight for deeper penetration. A polymer tip sits above an open cavity that allows the lead core to expand rapidly upon impact. The bullet also incorporates a tuned ogive that provides an industry-leading ballistic coefficient, while the boat-tail base enhances stability in flight and improves accuracy.
