A ready-mixed, cost-effective maintenance lick for sheep, goats and other ruminants grazing dry veld or small-grain crop residues. It supplies rumen-digestible protein that stimulates rumen microbes, helping increase the intake and digestion of dry roughage. Optimal sulphur levels support microbial-protein synthesis and wool production, while balanced trace and macro minerals support appetite, fertility and growth. High Vitamin A levels support mucous-membrane health and fertility. Molasses improves palatability and has a mild laxative action that helps prevent dry gall sickness. Feed in lick troughs with sufficient roughage available. Recommended small-stock intake is 120�180 g per animal daily for maintenance, or 300�450 g for body-condition improvement when mixed 1:1 with grain or molasses meal.
